The Green Dreams™ Organic Wool Moisture Mattress Pad is a thin, dense pad designed to help protect an organic mattress from moisture. Highly recomended for use on crib mattresses and on "big bed" mattresses while potty training toddlers. It may be used on mattress being used by a person of any age for added protection. The lanolin in wool makes it naturally water-repellent. It also helps wool to naturally resist mildew, bacteria and dust mites. A wool moisture pad is not 100% waterproof. If there is a high likelihood of serious moisture accidents, such as when children may remove their diapers, heavy droolers, sick babies who may throw up, or toddlers being potty trained, we recommend adding a second layer of protection, such as a terry cloth towel, beneath the wool moisture pad. Care Instructions: For minor wetness Wool Moisture pad may be spot cleaned and air dried flat or on line. When more washing is necessary, follow the care instructions that come with it.
